Walker Commits to Dawgs

Scout.com three-star safety Trevor Walker just announced his intentions of playing for the Pac 12 school...

Trevor Walker, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound safety from Mansfield (Texas) Timberview High narrowed his list to three schools: Washington, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.

On Friday, during a press conference at his high school he picked Washington over the SEC and announced that he would be taking his talents West to play for Steve Sarkisian and the Huskies.

"And with that I am announcing that I am carrying on my school career and football career at the University of Washington," Trevor said during a ceremony at his high school after thanking all of the people in his life that helped push him forward.

As as a senior, Walker racked up over 50 tackles, two interceptions and and broke up 10 passes for a Timberview team that suffered a 3-7 season. As a junior, Walker registered 89 tackles with five interceptions and 17 pass breakups while earning first team All-District honors.

He racked up offers from schools like Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Boise State, Purdue, Arizona, Arizona State and many others before taking official visits to Washington, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Boise State and Ole Miss and narrowing it to a final three.
