Sabourin Looking to Come to U.S.

For Canadian players, it can be extremely hard to even get looks from programs in the United States and the vast majority of talent from the country ends up staying there for college, however some certainly have the talent to play in the United States and Sam Sabourin may be one of them.

Sam Sabourin, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker from South Carleton High School in Richmond, Ontario runs a 4.6 40-yard dash and because of the wide open passing attacks in Canada, you can see on his film that he has the coverage ability to play at just about any level.

Right now he is heading into the playoffs with his high school and has been offered scholarships by over a dozen schools in Canada, but wants to come to the States to play for one of the teams contacting him which include Akron, Buffalo, Cal Poly, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Rice and Northeastern.
