The Owls pick up a commit, white knuckle time for Owl fans as the MLB June Draft approaches, Owl baseball, and of course more recruiting info... The Owls picked up a great looking Defensive End when they landed the verbal commit of Silsbee DE Josh Skinner on Wednesday. The 6-6 lefty will have a chance to be a 2 sport player at Rice. Ryan Lewis has a phenomenal season playing outfield for the Baton Rouge Catholic Bears this spring, including 10 Home Runs. Major League Baseball has noticed. Rice lost their opening game in the C-USA baseball tournament 8-2 to UAB. They were behind 4-3 in the 8th to East Carolina in the Thursday morning game today...
